JCR Civil Pty Ltd, formally J&C Reid Earthmoving Pty Ltd, was established in 1989 and since then we have grown substantially. We are located in North East Victoria and currently employ between 30-100 full time staff members, depending on contractual work. Additionally JCR Civil employ several subcontractors locally. This said, JCR have had a substantial effect on the local economy and families, providing a large number of employment opportunities to the community.

JCR Civil specialize in the installation of underground asset, pipeline construction, channel modernisation and all aspects of earthworks.  We have maintained a long relationship with the Department of Sustainability and Environment, Parks Victoria and NVIRP, maintaining their status as an approved contractor. Additionally, JCR Civil is authorised for works with SP Ausnet and is VEDN accredited. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and completing to a standard that we are sure will not require re-work. JCR have seen success at both a state and national level, after receiving the National CCF earth award for our environmentally recognized work in 2009.

JCR uses an Integrated Management System processes to ensure that appropriate planning of all operations is completed to standard that is both efficient and effective, in terms of Health and Safety, Environment and Quality. The JCR Civil IMS is applied across the company to ensure that each project safety, on time and to an outstanding quality of works. 

Furthermore, we are driven to maintaining a safe working environment for all our employees and subcontractors. We consider Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) to be an integral component of the organisation, and thus aim to achieve an incident free workplace, both in terms of safety and the environment. Our whole company has a belief that it is our responsibility to perform duties in such a way that meets our aims and objectives safely and within budget and set time frames, as well as meeting the aims and objectives of out clients.
